NAVAPD and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Partnership

Continuing Education is a necessary part of the healing professions. Physicians and Dentists must sustain certain hours or credits in order to maintain licensure and hence credentials and privileges in VA.  NAVAPD is acutely aware that most general dentists in VA are denied the $1000 continuing education money because of lack of board certification.

As such, NAVAPD is pleased to announce the first partnership with a professional school to offer continuing education to our members. NAVAPD has partnered with Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. This partnership allows our dentist members to take ADA accredited Dental Continuing Education courses offered through Tufts University at a 20% discount off the regular price of the course

Tufts University offers many continuing dental education courses in a variety of topics and formats (live, virtual, web based, etc). We have provided a link to their course catalogue where you can sign up through the Tufts University portal for the education courses of your choosing.

NAVAPD plans to expand the offering of medical and dental continuing education courses to our physician and dentist members as we continue to pursue partnerships with other institutions. Please check back regularly to see other courses that our members can take and other institutions that are now partnering with NAVAPD.
