Welcome Dr. Ali Parand to the NAVAPD Board

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Ali Parand has been elected to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Veteran Affairs Physicians and Dentists (NAVAPD). The board members have cast their votes and have welcomed Dr. Parand to join our esteemed board.

Dr. Parand is a board-certified internist with a wealth of experience in the VA system, having served since 2009. His journey began as a hospitalist, and he now practices as a primary care physician. Throughout his career, Dr. Parand has worked at 18 different VA facilities, significantly contributing to the VA's innovative Interim Staffing Program. This program has been instrumental in providing gap staffing coverage across various VA facilities.

Currently, Dr. Parand serves the Palo Alto VA system, where he continues to advocate for the wise implementation of the VHA’s mission to deliver sustainable, high-quality, cost-effective care to our veterans. His dedication and expertise are invaluable, and we are confident that his contributions will greatly enhance the NAVAPD's efforts to improve the quality of patient care within the VA healthcare system.
