Director Pamela Ellen Karasik, M.D.
Dr. Pamela Karasik is Chief of Medicine and Director of Clinical Electrophysiology at the Washington, DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She has been on staff for almost 29 years, since completing her Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology training in the Washington, DC area. Her interests include device-based therapy of ventricular arrhythmias, pacing therapy for congestive heart failure, and arrhythmia management. In addition, she is the co-director of the EP fellowship program at the VA. She has served as Governor for the American College of Cardiology, and is an active member of Heart Rhythm Society.
